UPDATE: I’m trying to open a cafepress store which will make everything easier.
Today I washed the t-shirts I printed and I’d never used this washing machine before so I didn’t know it was going to be, like…extremely fast and powerful. It’s just destroyed some of the designs, I don’t think it would have been as bad with a normal washing machine but I’m still not sure if I can rely on this method of printing. I wouldn’t want to sell people things that are going to be ruined after one wash, especially after all this effort…
So, I’m working with the portrait designs I’ve got, incorporating them with the traditional Korean pattern’s I’ve been working with, to come up with something that hopefully won’t ruffle any feathers.
Spreadshirt refused my designs because they were a ‘breach of human rights’ which I know you guys don’t really care about, you just want pretty people on a t-shirt right (me too, that’s why I’m doing this!) but it doesn’t occur to these companies that there’s unofficial t-shirts with prints of actual photographs of people like Rihanna being sold on the high street. I can understand with that, that is someone’s artwork, the person who took the photograph. These portraits are my own. Yes, I’ve based them on someone’s face, but I’ve made them.
They said that unless I had permission of each of the people I had created portraits for I couldn’t sell them (that’s fine, I’m not mad, they’ll be the ones who’ll get it in the neck if I got caught selling stuff through their website)

They are fully customisable, I have a variety of paint colours if anything else is desired. The t-shirt is plain white, unisex, size L (slightly baggy). This is because I found with fitted t-shirts that the design looked a bit warped.
The t-shirt itself will remain unedited unless you specify ‘no collar’.
If you just want a plain t-shirt with your bias in the centre and no customising, just put ‘No customising’ in the last section.

This was my initial reason for making these t-shirts, I wanted something colourful with personality that celebrates the different characters in K-POP, but I just really really wanted a t-shirt with G-D on and there’s some on ebay, those knock off one’s of the big face t-shirts, the black and white ones? If I had the money I would get one and jazz it up with sequins and stuff but even as knock-offs they’re quite expensive…for what they are.
So I knew when I started this (it took me ages to decide what hairstyle I wanted him in/what pose etc) that I was gonna spend ages focusing on niggly bits…I had so many layers open on this I was worried my comp was gonna crash
and destroy all of my files I was working on like it did before fml.I’m still working on Miryo, Zeco and CL but because GIMP saved them as JPEG’s and flattened out all my beautiful layers I pretty much have to start from scratch.
BAH
I’m gonna come back to them when I’m less mad about them, apart from Zico who I’d already given up making him look ‘serious and moody’ because the shadows looked really weird around his chin and cheeks (who has this weird face shape, really!)
oh and yes this is my fav hairstyle of G-D’s
(maybe why I love Taeyang so much these days?)
